They are also pretty quick with call in orders. I love the shrimp here they are really big and they normally give you more shrimp than you ordered. I always love my sides, I get Mac and cheese and cole slaw and they are so good I end up eating them first lol. First time there I ordered 3 fish, 3 shrimp, and 3 oysters (fried) with slaw and red beans and rice and got 5 fish filets, 5 jumbo shrimp, and 4 oysters! All but the oysters were delicious--better than the fish and shrimp I had had at Papadeauxs at DFW the day before (and at less than half the price)! Red beans and rice and slaw were excellent as well. I took half home and finished it for supper. I went back the next day and had the same thing minus the oysters. "We were traveling through Monroe and needed a convenient place off I20 to eat. We choose Sam's and I can tell you we were not disappointed. The fried shrimp po boy and onion rings were amazing. My husband had the grilled shrimp and loved them. He is a harder person to please but was extremely happy we stopped. Don't let the looks of the place stop you it is worth it.
